How the calculation works
The calculator uses the weighted average of your current reviews. Your current total score is the number of reviews multiplied by your current average. To reach your target score, that total must rise by adding extra 5-star reviews.
Formula:
needed = ceil( current_reviews × (target_score − current_score) / (5 − target_score) )
For example, if you have 4.2 stars with 80 reviews and want to reach 4.6, your total score must rise from 336 to at least 368. Every new 5-star review adds 5 points, so you need 48 new 5-star reviews.
