    Free Website SEO Scan

With RecensioAI's free website SEO scan you discover in 30 seconds how your website performs on SEO, speed, mobile and security. You get a personal action plan with clear steps to improve your website and rank higher in Google.

    How the SEO scan works

    1. 1

      We fetch your page

We load your homepage the way a search engine does and read the HTML: titles, headings, meta description, images and links.

    2. 2

      Technical checks

Robots.txt, sitemap, canonical, HTTPS, mobile rendering and loading behaviour are checked.

    3. 3

      Findability for AI

We check whether your page is readable without JavaScript and whether structured data is present, because AI answers lean on both.

    4. 4

      Priority list

You get the findings sorted by impact, each with the concrete change to make.

What the scan can and cannot see

    Checked

    • Title, meta description and canonical
    • Heading structure (H1 to H3)
    • Image alt text
    • Robots.txt and sitemap
    • HTTPS and mobile rendering
    • Structured data and Open Graph tags

    Not checked

    • Your Google rankings — that needs Search Console
    • Backlinks pointing to your website
    • Pages behind a login
    • Your entire site: the scan looks at the URL you enter

Which finding do you fix first?

Not every finding matters equally. This order works for most local businesses:

    PriorityFindingWhy
1Page not indexableWithout indexing nothing else counts.
2Title missing or too longThe title decides whether someone clicks from search results.
3Missing or duplicate H1Google uses the H1 to determine the page topic.
4Slow mobile renderingMore than half of your local visitors arrive on mobile.
5No structured dataDetermines whether you appear in rich results and AI answers.
6Missing alt textSmaller effect, but quick to fix.

Worked example: a plumber with 6 findings

A plumbing company scanned its homepage. This is what came out and what was changed:

    FindingBeforeAfter
    Title"Home | Company name""Plumber Utrecht — 24/7 emergency service"
Meta descriptionmissing148 characters with city and service
    H12 of them1 clear H1
    Structured datanoneLocalBusiness
    Alt text3 of 14 images14 of 14
    Sitemapnot foundsubmitted in Search Console

These are hygiene items. They do not automatically produce revenue, but without this base any further work on findability has little effect.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the tool scan my whole website?

No, the scan analyses the URL you enter. To assess multiple pages, scan them one by one — start with your homepage and your most important service page.

Does the scan tell me my Google ranking?

No. Rankings differ per keyword, location and device. Use Google Search Console for that. This scan covers the technical and content factors you control yourself.

Why is there something about AI findability?

More people search through AI assistants. Those read plain HTML and structured data. A page that only shows content through JavaScript often does not get picked up there.

    How often should I re-scan?

After every major change to your website, and otherwise once a quarter to check nothing broke.

Do you store my website data?

We keep the scan result so you can use the shareable link. It expires after 10 days and is deleted afterwards.

    Methodology & sources

The scan fetches the given URL through a server-side request and analyses the delivered HTML. Technical checks follow Google's public guidance on indexing, mobile rendering and structured data.

Because we analyse the HTML as delivered, we do not see content that only appears after JavaScript runs in the browser. That is deliberate: search engines and AI assistants have the same limitation.
