What is Email Marketing?
A full email marketing tool — built into your dashboard, under Growth → Email Marketing. Send seasonal offers, win-back emails, announcements and event invites to your whole customer base or a specific segment. Every email is automatically wrapped in your branding (logo + brand colour from Settings) and includes a GDPR-ready footer with 1-click unsubscribe.
Send a campaign in 5 steps
1. Open Email Marketing → New campaign. 2. Pick a template (announcement, seasonal offer, win-back, event, review-boost). 3. Write your subject and message — your logo, brand colour and signature are added automatically. 4. Choose a segment: all customers, reviewers only, sleepers (90+ days inactive) or a custom CSV list. 5. Hit Send test to email a copy to yourself first, then Send campaign.
Live stats (delivered, opens, clicks, unsubs) appear instantly on the campaign card.
Your branding, applied automatically
Every campaign reuses the branding set under Settings → Account & branding: your logo lands in the header, your brand colour powers the accent bar, the CTA button and the signature card. Set it once — every future campaign updates itself. The Settings tab inside Email Marketing shows a live preview of where each branding element appears.
Test before you broadcast
In the Templates tab, each template has a Test button. Enter any email (your own is pre-filled) and we send a copy prefixed with [TEST] — fully branded, exactly as recipients see it. Test sends spend no credits and don't touch your analytics. Perfect for checking copy, links and rendering in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail.
Unsubscribe & GDPR — handled automatically
Every email includes:
- A clickable unsubscribe link in the footer (visible in all email clients). - Native 1-click unsubscribe in Gmail and Apple Mail (via List-Unsubscribe headers — required by bulk-sender rules since 2024). - Instant suppression: opt-outs are permanently blocked account-wide for every future campaign, automation and channel.
Under Email Marketing → Settings → Unsubscribe & compliance you can add your own footer line (e.g. *'You received this because you visited Bella Restaurant'*) and preview exactly how the footer renders to recipients.
Which audiences can you email?
For every campaign you pick a segment:
- All customers — everyone in your contact list, minus suppressed contacts. - Reviewers — customers who already left you a Google review (great for thank-you offers). - Sleepers — customers with no visit/contact in 90+ days (perfect for win-back). - Custom list — upload a CSV with an email column.
Suppressed contacts are automatically excluded from every segment.
What are the sending limits?
Email Marketing is included in every plan — Starter, Pro and Multi. The difference is send pace per campaign:
- Starter — standard pace. - Pro — ~5× faster. - Multi — ~10× faster.
For most local businesses (under 5,000 contacts) a full campaign lands within minutes on every plan. Pace mainly matters for large seasonal blasts.
Which stats do you get per campaign?
Each campaign card shows live:
- Delivered — emails accepted by the recipient's mail server. - Opens — recipients who opened the message. - Clicks — clicks on links or your CTA button. - Unsubscribes — contacts who opted out (auto-suppressed). - Attributed reviews — Google reviews left within 7 days of the email (only when the campaign points to your review link).
Use the numbers to iterate: tweak the subject line, swap the CTA, or tighten the segment for the next send.
